Missing you...
It has been a bit of a strange week, this past week. I have missed my dad a lot over the past few days. We may have gone a few weeks without touching base, but we always checked in at least every month or so just to say "hi". I never have gone 3 months without talking to him...and now I have to go forever. It just makes me very sad. To top it all off, Gabi and I were going through all of our pictures this past weekend and shots of me and my dad at my wedding popped up. That was tough. I did take one and have it with me here at work.
Did some physical labor last week for work. I am glad I decided 7 years ago to make my living using my voice because on Friday I was exhausted. Cool thing is I get to spend all of tomorrow in downtown Seattle doing some upgrade work. Next to NYC, downtown Seattle is the coolest places in the U.S., If I had to do a top 5, it would go like this:
Top 5
1. NYC - Hey...it is New York
2. Seattle - Very hip, unbelievable views.
3. San Francisco - See above
4. Dallas - Surprisingly nice. The food is unbelievable.
5. Chicago - See above.
Bottom 5
1. Denver - Postcard perfect city in the Rockies? No...congested and flat, in farmland.
2. L.A. - L.A. just plain sucks.
3. San Antonio - Riverwalk is mostly commercial and uninteresting.
4. Miami - Art deco? Art yucco. Kind of dumpy in my opinion.
5. Phoenix - Easy to get around, unfortunately a perfect example of urban sprawl.
Top 5 I want to see (Worldwide)
1. London
2. Stuutgart
3. Tokyo
4. Berlin
5. Melbourne
Top 5 I hope never to see (Worldwide)
1. Calcutta
2. Baghdad
3. Tehran
4. Kabul
5. Anywhere in Africa.
Anyhow...sorry for the tangent.
That being said, I think I will update at a later date. Everybody stay safe...

I had a night like this the other night, going through old photos. It really is hard when you see those images. I can't even imagine how hard it must be on you. I am so sorry. My heart goes out to you.
