Dear Alex,

You were supposed to be here March 12th. Dr. Barille said "He's pretty big, you might want to consider having him C-Section earlier than the due date. I will be working on the weekend of February 28th and 29th, do you want to schedule it then?" Of course, your father, always the joker jumped immediately on the 29th, whereas your mother and the doctor jumped in with a "NO!!!" right away. So February 28th it was, 9:00AM. Dr. Barille got tied up that morning and we had to wait. Finally at around 1:45PM they wheeled Mommy in. I came in at about 2:05PM and at 2:13PM we met you for the first time! (Mommy was familiar with your kicking feet already). You coming into our lives was the most joyus occasion ever. Every day we are thankful that we got such a wonderful, sweet boy. It is two years later now and we love you even more, if that is possible. Happy Birthday son, I love you.
